We'll be playing a set of New Order songs on 12-09 at the Echoplex in Los Angeles for Part Time Punks' Smiths nite!

SHOW

12.09 SMITHS/MORRISSEY NITE with a special live performance by SWEET & TENDER HOOLIGANS + NEW ORDER tribute by FLAAMINGOS!

After many, many years of plotting and planning with regular Smiths Nite Guest DJ Jose Maldonado, his band SWEET & TENDER HOOLIGANS will be playing a very special set of live songs by The Smiths and Morrissey.  The band hasn't played at Part Time Punks since PTP's very first Smiths Nite back in 2005 (!) and this marks the band's first-ever appearance at The Echoplex!  Plus, one of PTP's new favorite bands, FLAAMINGOS, will open with a live set of NEW ORDER songs!  

And of course you can spend the rest of the evening oscillating wildly to the songs that saved your life...aka your favourite tunes by Morrissey and The Smiths!  With a healthy dash of Moz's inspirations and contemporaries (and even a few Smiths clones thrown in to see just how big of fan you really are...) courtesy of yer host and Guest DJ Jose Maldonado...

And of course Cut Out Morrissey will be there courtesy of PTP photog, Dylan Gordon aka D-M-A-X, for all your endless dancefloor contortions and photo op demands...
